Rainforest Expeditions
Rainforest Expeditions runs three Amazon Lodges, Posada Amazonas, Refugio Amazonas and the Tambopata Research Centre. Each lodge offers a variety of activities including nature walks, birdspotting, research and wildlife observation.

The lodges have been built in line with local tradition using local materials combined with modern expertise. Each room has a private bathroom (with cold water), mosquito nets and hammocks or lounge chairs. The rooms and common areas are open and offer plenty of space for resting and socialising with other guests.

This superb lodge in the heart of the Amazon offers luxury accommodation, in keeping with the environment. The most luxurious of the Amazon Lodges near Puerto Maldonado, it is the only one with warm water showers!

The rooms, inspired by native Amazon design use natural materials to create a comfortable environment with modern amenities.
